The seaworthy packing of cargo is an extremely crucial part of today’s international logistics chain. One of the most common reasons for cargo damage/ spoilage and cargo rejection thereof, is due to poor packing. With our in-house packing and palletization team we offer diverse packing/ lashing/ choking services across India.
Manufacturing and Fabrication of wooden pallets, cases, boxes, crates, saddles, skids etc are done in our warehouse and workshop in Bhiwandi (outskirts of Mumbai) by a team of professionally trained workmen and staff. From here we are able to dispatch tailor made finished products to the customers site, where we can execute packing of the highest standards conforming to all the stringent requirements of heat treatment/ fumigation as well as keeping your cargo safe from damage even with the worst of transport/ handling conditions.
For international trade we are well versed with the various regulations and requirements for cargo safety and compatibility to various regulations. Our packing is done as per ISPM 15 standards and all materials and wood used is fumigated or heat treated depending on the formalities of the destination country. We ensure optimum container space utilization as well as the most efficient and effective lashing methods. Proper labeling and marking also ensures proper handling of the cargo in transit. We also offer shrink wrapping, application of wood preservatives, Vapour Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI), heat treatment and ISPM15 compatibility depending on the needs of the customer.
The nature of transit by sea is very demanding on cargo causing damage due to handling as well as corrosion
due to humidity and sea spray. Our experienced personnel suggest and generate packing options on the basis of the type of cargo, destination country, mode of shipment etc with the help of a thorough knowledge of rules
and regulations, in order to reach your precious cargo safely and at a reasonable cost. Special attention is placed on marks and numbers for pick up points, centre of gravity, hazardous class signs, top/ bottom/ fragile marks etc.
We also supply pallets and different types of wood on retail basis ex our Bhiwandi warehouse. We have a ready stock of standard sized pallets as well as rubber wood and New Zealand pine wood for export purpose.
