Over the years our group has safeguarded the interests of several shipping companies and today represents several overseas shipping and logistics companies in India. Through the 80’s Mazda serviced practically every large stevedore and vessel agent in Bombay Port, building years of trust in our quality of service and strong relations with the top players in the industry as well as with the Bombay Port Trust. Mazda has been registered at Bombay Port Trust since 1978, and our other group companies are registered as vessel agents at Nhava Sheva as well as Mumbai Port Trust.
One of the biggest advantages we can offer our principals is an immediate set up with a running office and staff in Mumbai, Ahmedabad (for Mundra/ Kandla/ Pipavav) and Delhi. We have several years of business experience in India, our group has Pvt Ltd companies on standby to which we can transfer requisite licenses, change names and set-up shop instantly. Our strong contacts with port authorities, officials and the largest cargo controllers in each of these regions makes us competent to handle large scale operations on a nation wide level.
Through the first half of the decade we handled more than three vessels per week at Nhava Sheva, and handling a volume equivalent of approx 14000TEUs per month. Besdies full vessel operations and marketing, we also handle husbanding of ships under our agency.
